Turkey day in Cabo San Lucas

We just returned from a week long siesta in Cabo. It's always nice to return to Mexico and habla en espanol. Chuck's proficiency is marginal, so it's always funny to hear him try to speak Spanish...at least he tries.

The direct flight on American was fabulous. We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, which is located on the Pacific side of Cabo. It's very secluded and located on the other side of the large mountain separating the Pacific Ocean from the Sea of Cortez. The resort was gorgeous, very secluded, adults only, and overall a nice place. However, they would benefit tremendously if they stopped charging for all the little things and just made the place an all inclusive resort.

The weather was a beautiful 90 each day with nice winds off the ocean, which made it very pleasant to tomar el sol (take in the sun or sunbathe).

Our relaxation was reading, listening to music, walks on the beach, and of course, I had to try the spa. The reflexology was great; however my manicure looks like a 5 year old did it. I have more nail polish on my skin than I have on my nails! Patricia kept saying no te precupes (don't you worry) I'll fix it. Ha!

The flight home was crummy, but that's completely my fault for booking Frontier to Denver then United to Chicago. Lesson learned - always book connections on the same carrier. We carried on our luggage, so at least we didn't have that hassle too. In the end we arrived home at 2:30 am, 4 hours later than originally planned.
